The Writers’ Space

We’ve partnered with Brighton & Hove City Libraries to offer free, in person writing spaces in three libraries across the city. This project is supported by Arts Council England and Brighton & Hove City Council.

This is a space for you if you’re interested in writing, or are in the process of getting your word count increased.

Expect to be invited by our facilitator to share your intention with the group, then write in silence for a couple of hours. At the end, you’ll tell us how it’s gone.

We can provide prompts if you want, but do feel free to just pop along and get busy with whatever you’re working on: prose, poetry, memoir, an essay… your CV?

We don’t share work and we don’t teach in this session. It’s simply a place for you write in the company of other writers - aka body doubling.

And it works!

RSVP to the next free session!.

Creative Catch-up in partnership with Brighton Dome

Hosted at Brighton Dome and supported by Brighton & Hove City Council’s Shared Prosperity Fund, the free Creative Catch-ups are a positive space to bring our community together, share ideas and think.

At this session, artists set the agenda. There will be opportunities to chat and

updates on local and national events.

Pop along to catch-up with the Brighton creative community.

No need to pitch or sell - just be you.
